  • I haven't used it yet but I wonder how much algorithmic trading and backtesting can help eliminating emotional aspect to trading. The problem I see is that unless its's a very smart system (e.g. how much is the SMA sloping up or done) and you can easily ignore market conditions . My view is that Market News trumps TA every time , One tweet and a near ideal setup blows up.
