Review Update: After playing Xevious some more, it turns out this version is really buggy. It controls fine, but later on the enemy placements are all over the place and there is no mothership that I could find. A real bummer. Thank you RJ on Atariage for pointing this out. Also, my joystick is no longer responding as well, so be sure to test out used units if you can.
I dug up this bad boy during quarantine but it glitches when the wires aren't in a certain position and now after less than a minute, it resets to the plug it in and play tv games logo and get starts spazzing out with high pitched screeching
I remember having this
This feels like a dumb question but on that remote how do u click the fire button
I've been having this exact one since I was little. I used to have so much fun on this thing.
Where did u buy that and how much did it cost?
We’re do you get plug and play
I remember having this, but I have no clue why it'd be so expensive.
Great quick review. Short and to.the point.
I got one today at goodwill for $7.
I have this plug n play but the cable is a bit broken so now I have to basically try to fix it or buy one and since it’s 2019 it cost $230 which I don’t have that kind of money since I’m a 15 year old so yeah I hope I can fix it
I have this!
I GOT THAT TOO
2:19 Mappy is my all time favorite arcade game
He sounds like Fix it Felix from wreck it Ralph movie
why are people selling this for $200 to $400 ive had it since i was 4 or 6 and was just wondering
where can i find this thing?
can anyone help me with why it keeps cutting out on the screen. like theres a short?
Can u find that in a Walmart or something
Can someone please help me with setting this up. Ive had it for years and i found it a couple days ago but it wont work when i plug it in. Brand new batteries and it turns on but it wont show up on my tv screen
Where did u get that
I have the game key version. Bought it new in like 2003, and didn't take it out of the package until around 3 years ago. I am concerned that the cartridge interface is not very durable because it looks cheap.
The control on Ms. Pacman doesn't seem to me to be very good. Ms. Pac Man really needs a 4 way joystick, and this is an 8 way joystick. Even so, I am not sure that the joystick is of sufficient quality to play Pac Man because you need to be able to change direction quickly.
So if I use this at all, it will be to play Pole Position, because the game is impossible to emulate.
I had this when I was little and played it all the damn time. Sadly though, I was a really shitty kid, and broke it in less than 2 years.
Hi how do I hook it up to a smart TV
I had gotten this plug n play from a Toys R' Us about 6 or 7 years ago, and I have enjoyed it ever since! I've played it quite a number of times, and my favorite games to play on it are Super Pac-Man, New Rally-X, and Dig Dug. However, quite recently, the AV cord on it has started to become flaky in the connections, which has me thinking that I should look into similar game compilations (maybe or absolutually Namco Museum Battle Collection) until I have the adequate repair skills. The joystick, however, has fared quite well.
He sounds like van buren 20
No swear? I just watched AVGN
anybody know where i can buy one of these inexpensively? i used to have one but we got rid of it a few years ago.
Yo tengo una de esas
U are marty from thecguitar lessons right u sould like it
I have this! bought it about 5 years ago or so? The joystick is getting a little unresponsive now. Too much frantic Bosconian action! lol
Also, i had Dig Dug on the Commodore 64, once upon a time…
This was certainly a perfect plug 'n play, at least until Jakks lost the rights to do more and Namco out out their own plug 'n play which was shaped like the Pac-Man sprite with the added "Pac-Man 256" level.
I would like this plug and play if I could find it cause on amazon it's at least 30 bucks now take that into comparison with pac man 256 plug and play which is 20 bucks and namco museum megamix is 17 yeah I'm missing pole position but I don't need that so I prefer the pac man 256 plug and play and I prefer namco museum megamix over that and that's just on gaplus pac mania and gaplus alone cause it's too freakin much
I always felt that jack's pasific used genuine namco parts on some later itterations of the namco plug and play.
I’ve been having that since I was little and it’s 🔥🔥🔥
YES! I agree, this is also my favorite plug and play too. And also that Pole Position here is AWESOME.
Nice review
I'm actually surprised you're not a fan if Rally X. I don't know why why but it seems like your kind if game.
I really like the selection on this one.
Like most of my plug and plays I found this one at my local thrift store. And it is easily one of my two favorites (the other being the Colecovision Flashback). Good variety of games, and very well-built to boot!
Definitely agreed! If I reviewed plug n' plays and had a ranking list, this would definitely be on the top.
I play Pac Man on this particular Plug and Play often. It's very good but we did have to resort to using adhesive Velcro strips to keep it secured to a table during intense sessions.
Ms. Pac-man gets left out way too often.
Very kool
