I’ve been playing Monster Box- Dan-Ball’s newest game- quite a bit lately. At one point it occurred to me to start aiming to get everything possible accomplished in under 1 hour, and record my attempts. I had quite a few failed attempts before thinking up a new way to spread the upgrades; the way you see me spread the upgrades in this video. Once I switched strategies, I only had one failed attempt before this attempt. In that attempt, though I maxed all the upgrades within the hour, I failed to hit the cash cap of 9.999.999 within the hour- it took me 63 minutes to do that in my first attempt with the strategy I show here. Only over the challenge line by 3 minutes, but 3 minutes too many for me to consider it a true success. I may or may not upload this first attempt I’m talking about, and if I do I might settle for making it unlisted and putting a link here, or I could simply make it public. Back to the main topic- this video; the reason it’s so short is right in the title- I sped it up by 5 times with Windows Movie Maker (Windows 7 version).
If you don’t really understand what I’m talking about, looking at the wiki for it and/or maybe giving the actual game a swing might make things easier to understand:
The wiki for Monster Box:
The actual game (note that I am not responsible for it if you lose hours upon hours playing Monster Box ;P ):
If people request, I might upload the original normal speed recording. However, otherwise I probably won’t. This video is much shorter, still shows my whole strategy, and most importantly, still is enough to prove I maxed all upgrades and hit the cash cap in under 1 hour. The only reason I don’t obtain the 8th stickman is because the cost is 10.000.000. The cash cap is 1 lower than that: 9.999.999. Pretty good reason if you ask me. ;P
